Peter Thomas, National Director & PrincipalHaving grown up at Capernwray Hall, England, Peter trained as a school teacher and taught in North Wales before joining staff at Capernwray Hall and then not long after joined staff with Capernwray in New Zealand. As well as his education degree, he has a Bachelor of Divinity and a Master of Theological study degree. His passion is teaching the timeless truths of Christ’s life through the Word of God and relating that teaching to the everyday world. He is still keen on all sports and plays a reasonable but much less threatening game of squash than he used too. He loves living in the Waikato and especially the little old farmhouse he, Elizabeth and their two children Callum and Alexandra have near Lake Karapiro. |

Glenn Johnson, Business ManagerGlenn is a local, growing up close to the Monavale Campus. With a Masters Degree in Science Technology, Glenn spent 10 years working as an Analytical Chemist in both New Zealand and England. Following a mission experience to Serbia during the Balkan civil war, Glenn joined Oak Hall Expeditions in England, where he managed the Summer Expedition Programme for 5 years, including supporting the establishment of Bible School’s in Serbia and Thailand. Glenn joined the Capernwray NZ staff in early 2007 where he gains immense personal satisfaction in his support role by seeing the lives of students and others enriched through a closer personal relationship with Christ. Glenn, his wife Mags, and son Philip, all have a love of the great Kiwi outdoors – especially the beach! |

Dave Firth, BML / Marketing DirectorDave came to New Zealand in July of 2008 to head up the new Business Ministry Leadership course at Capernwray having worked in the tourism, finance and marketing sectors. He has a passion for professionalism in ministry and integrity in the workplace. A mad soccer fan, Dave is married to Marsha and they have two boys; Taylor and Michael. |

Hayden Johns, Pastoral Dean of StudentsHayden was born and grew up in Auckland, New Zealand. As a Kiwi he enjoys New Zealand’s great outdoors and watching rugby. Hayden is married to Natascha (they have three energetic children!!). He first studied for a two year diploma in business, NZDipBus, after this a desire to know God more deeply and to share His word led Hayden to complete a B.A. in Theology from Moody Bible Institute, Chicago USA. Following this he worked as the “Associate Pastor of Youth” for a church in NZ for four years. He then went on to complete his M.A. in Theology from Trinity Theological College, Bristol, UK. After his Masters, Hayden joined the staff at Capernwray in 2003 where he loves communicating the scriptures, teaching hermeneutics and interacting with students. While working at Capernwray Hayden completed Postgraduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching, PGCert(TertTchg) from the University of Waikato. |

Hadassah Jones, Co-ordinator of MinistriesHadassah first joined Capernwray in 2002 in the role of Ministries Co-ordinator. She left in 2008 to join Operation Mobilisation (OM) and the Logos Hope ministry ship. Hadassah has now returned (with her new husband Jack!) to continue her work as Co-ordinator of Ministries, bringing with her the ministry skills and experiences she developed more on the Logos Hope. Hadassah has a passion for missions and reaching out to those in need of the Gospel. |

Sharon-Louise Good, Office Manager & RegistrarSharon-Louise spent 12 years in the computer / IT industry before joining the staff at Capernwray in 2004. In her current role as Office Manager & Registrar she is the first point of contact for most guests, visitors and students! Sharon-Louise enjoys the variety both the roles bring and the privilege of getting to know and encouraging students as they learn what it means to abide in Christ. She also enjoys working with and being married to Craig! |

Elizabeth Thomas, Functions ManagerElizabeth trained as a graphic artist through the Queensland College of Art. She attended Capernwray Bible School in Moss Vale N.S.W in 1987 and went on staff following her studies there. She and her husband Peter (the Director!) have been working with Capernwray ever since. Elizabeth is involved in the many aspects of the ministry in New Zealand, primarily as functions manager, teaching in the Bible school and managing the coffee shop/book shop. |

Lejf Pedersen, Property ManagerLejf originates from Denmark, where he worked as a qualified electrician. He then moved to England where he spent almost 2 years on the maintenance team at Capernwray Hall, before coming to Capernwray New Zealand as a student in 1998. After a year as a student, he joined the staff as a volunteer, and later took on a permanent position as the Property Manager. Lejf enjoys serving the student community by providing and maintaining good facilities, as well as getting alongside the students and helping them discover who Christ is. |

Craig Good, Website AdministratorA born and bred Kiwi, Craig spent 20 years in the IT industry before joining Capernwray in 2004 as the gardener! More recent times has seen Craig move into looking after the websites for Capernwray New Zealand and one or two other Torchbearers centres. Craig's greatest thrill and privilege is sharing with the students what he has learnt (and continues to learn!) from his time at Capernwray, that Christ is our life. Married to Sharon-Louise, Craig enjoys most sports but particularly road cycling..and their two cats, Ollie and Sylvester! |

Dean Burgess, Head ChefAfter having spent 15 years in commercial restaurants, Dean wanted to serve God in a more practical and dedicated way. So, in 2004 when the opportunity came, he joined the team at Monavale as the Head Chef. Dean is passionate about life with the students and enjoys making their time at school a memorable experience. Dean's wife, Sarah, and three daughters, Annalise, Sophie and Amelia, all have a large part to play in the practical side of student life as they encourage and help them find and grow in Jesus. |

Anneloor Davidson, House ManagerAnneloor has recently returned to work at Monavale after a year away. Anneloor enjoys preparing the school for new students and guests, and when not busy cleaning and looking after the housekeeping side of things, she loves to get outside and tinker in Monavale's beautiful gardens! |

Jack Jones, Groundsman / GardenerJack originates from the UK. After studying automobile engineering he moved to Germany and lived there for over 13 years, during which time he qualified as a ski instructor. In 2008 he joined the OM ship Logos Hope and worked there as an electrician. It was here that he met Hadassah and fell in love! Jack and Hadassh then travelled to New Zealand where they were married on New Years Eve 2009. Keeping it in the family with Hadassah, Jack has now started working at Capernwray as the new gardener / groundsman...or as he is referred to...'the gardenator'! |
